Associate Opportunities

EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTANTS 

We are seeking part-time and full-time Accountants to join our firm, which specializes in accounting and controllership services for nonprofit organizations. We work with our clients year-round performing their weekly and monthly accounting, financial reporting, cash flow planning, budgeting, and analysis. We also consult with our clients about accounting and financial "best practices."

• Outstanding accounting and communication skills, a positive attitude and professional demeanor

• Experience as a Senior Accountant, Assistant Controller or Controller

• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Thorough knowledge of or desire to learn accounting software packages

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• The ability to work independently at our clients' offices in and around the Philadelphia metro area, southern New Jersey, Delaware, and Washington, DC.

Bookkeeper Technician® Opportunities

We are seeking part-time and full-time Bookkeeper Technicians to join our firm, which specializes in accounting and controllership services for nonprofit organizations. Bookkeeper Technicians work with our accountants and clients to perform weekly and monthly accounting functions that include accounts payable invoice posting, check printing, deposit posting and payroll processing. Additional responsibilities may include invoicing on government contracts, resolving vendor issues and performing maintenance of various supporting accounting schedules.

Successful candidates will complete our Bookkeeper Technician University (BTU) which trains bookkeepers in a unique way that combines classroom learning with practical case studies along with real world situations. Qualifications:

• Detail oriented and extremely well organized to accurately and precisely meet deadlines

• Outstanding communication skills, a positive attitude and professional demeanor

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word

• Knowledge of or a desire to learn accounting software packages including Peachtree and QuickBooks

• College degree preferred with 5-10 years of work experience. Nonprofit experience is a plus, but not required.
